A gorilla name Imani gives birth to a baby girl through C section at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The baby girl gorilla is weighing 4.6 pounds. The baby was delivered by team zoo staff and outside consultants

Shocking!!!! Gorilla gives birth to a baby girl through C section

She is currently in intensive care receiving oxygen at San Diego Zoo veterinary hospital and her mother is recuperating from surgery in a gorilla bedroom.
The Associate Director of veterinary services at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park Nadine Lamberski said that “we think the health of the baby girl gorilla fetus would have been compromised if we delayed the surgery any longer that why C-section was the right decision”.
Mr Nadine said that the baby is healthy and she is in the good care of doctors. The baby is said to be very strong and has a very strong supple reflex.
