The day UHURU KENYATTA and RUTO ran away from Kenyans’ pressure and went to hide

Thursday May 8, 2014 -
Immediately after being declared
President and Deputy President-
elect by the Independent
Electoral and Boundaries
Commission (IEBC) and
subsequently setting up a
temporary office at Kenyatta
International Conference Centre
(KICC), Uhuru Kenyatta and
William Ruto started receiving
visitors none stop.
Reliable sources at State House
told us that visitors from all
walks of life; lobbyists, politicians
and ordinary Kenyans flocked
Uhuru/ Ruto’s offices at KICC
without appointments and with
varied problems.
They felt that Uhuru and Ruto
owed them after being declared
the most powerful men in the
land.
Long queues started forming as
early as 5am to as late as 9pm
everyday and the two felt the
heat of their new responsibility
ahead; they had rough time
managing human traffic in their
offices.
After realizing that they were
almost being paralyzed by the
jam in their offices even before
they legally assume office, Uhuru
and Ruto immediately devised an
escape plan.
Their men came up with
something that saw the two run
to Mombasa to hide from the
masses in Nairobi.
The two were said to have gone
to the Coast to inspect
development projects but it was
all a lie because they just ran
away from people to focus on
constituting the Government.
